 Hybrid bonds combine the best of two or more different types of bonds — Resin Bond, Metal Bond, etc. — and/or processing methods to create a “Hybrid” that encompasses enhanced properties to deliver high performance results for some of manufacturing’s toughest grinding applications.

Advantages of hybrid CBN diamond wheels

1. Resin (polyimide) bond. Good grinding performance and surface roughness, elasticity, minimal chipping
2. Metal bond. High wear resistance and high thermal stability, excellent grinding ability and long tool life
3. Dressing interval: more than double
4. Tool life: more than 1.5 times
