And also we can make any other profile grinding wheels according to u band saw drawing with size to show us the profile, also confirm the OD, ID. mesh size will be available for our production.
In the past, large band saws for stationary mills were sharpened with conventional or ziconia abrasives in vitrified or resinoid bonds. These wheels required almost continuous dressing by the saw filer to retain the profile and prevent the wheels from burning the blade. Because our CBN wheels are electroplated onto a steel core, they offer significant advantages over the conventional abrasive wheels.
Advantages:
1. Wheel cores can be recycled and replated, thus reducing waste
2. No loss of profile during grinding, no dressing required
3. Cooler cutting CBN results in less metallurgical damage to the blade,
and longer life between re-grinds. No need to re-open the wheel face
4. The bandsaw itself is sharper after grinding and can be run at higher
production speeds
5. No abrasive dust generated that can damage machine components
6. Eliminates the possibility of wheel breakage
7. No loss in wheel diameter during grinding; wheel continues to operate
at the optimum peripheral speed
